Flickr – Photo Sharing

Flickr is a revolution in photo storage, sharing and organization, making photo management an easy, natural and collaborative process. Get comments, notes, and tags on your photos, post to any blog, share and chat live and more!

The service is still in beta, is sometimes (rarely) pretty slow but overall quite worth it (Go buy an account while they’re still in beta!). Pictures I post to this blog come directly from Flickr’s “Blog This” feature which supports quick posting to quite a few blog engines. Storage space is unlimited although upload bandwidth is limited (10MB per month for free, 1GB for paid). It has a “Notes” feature which allows you to quickly add Notes to images that you’ve uploaded. I recently upgraded to a Pro account. I’m now addicted to Flickr! A cooler part of Flickr is the very active development team that keeps adding pretty interesting stuff into the application on a regular basis.
