LiveJournal Comment Link Override

Want to change the way your comment links appear on LiveJournal? This works with free accounts too.
- Login.
- Go to Manage | Customize.
- Choose Old System (S1) if it’s not already selected.
- Click on the “Modify Journal” link.
- Scroll down to the “Overrides” textbox.
- Put the following code in there. The “happy people” and “kick me” parts are the ones you’d want to change.

hey, i was trying to change the comment code and the first one worked, but for some reason the one for “post comment” wouldn’t change. cane you help me, please? -jordan

Jordan: There is a small space between < and = in the LASTN_TALK_LINKS<= line. Please remove the space between < and = and it should all work just fine.

I already added the new comment option thinger but I was wondering..how can I have that and still make my live journal look good? (how can I add my own text, etc.)

i tried to make my comment links say something different, but i did that and the part where it says ‘leave a comment’ still says ‘leave a comment’ but the other part says ‘# broke my heart’ cuz i changed it to that, how do i change the other one? thanks

yeah – how do you get the “leave a comment” part at the bottom of the post. cause i changed it, and it works fine, only now it’s above the post so its harder to notice.

‘ello… hmmmm.. well whenever you get the chance respond … but I was wondering if you would happen to know how to make the links on my journal (like the comment, friends, info) move… I’ve seen on other people’s page that when the cursor hovers over them they italicize/ get bigger … the only reason that mine gets bigger is because I got the code from a website, and did what I wanted, but there wasn’t anything that explained the links… thank you

I’m trying to change my font size using a override, but it wont change. Also the comment link used to be at the bottom of my entrys, now it is at the top.

Ok, so I tried to make the comment links say what I wanted, and it worked just fine with your override.
EXCEPT that now the links appear at the TOP of the entry, not at the bottom…
what’s wrong? Here’s my code:

I want my live journal comments to say 1 moonbeam in a jar or 2 moonbeams in a jar, and play among the stars. I cannot get this to work, and I am using s1 generator! Help??
