Windows XP Autorun Stopped

If your CDs have suddenly stopped being autoplayed by Windows, here are a couple of things you can try:

• Go to Start | Run | regedit
• Press F3
• Search for “NoDriveTypeAutoRun”

• Make sure it’s value is 91 (Hexadecimal). Or, simply delete this entry

If that does not help, fire up My Computer, right-click the CD Drive, surf to the AutoPlay folder and choose an appropriate action.
