Heavy DataOne Bill?

Posted by Mikhail Esteves under: Tips .

First thing to do when you receive a DataOne connection is to reset your password to something secure. BSNL has a very silly way of assigning passwords to their subscribers. If your name is, for example, Gaurav and you live in Bangalore, your password would be BANGAU123. If you live in Pune, it would be PUNGAU123.

Anybody who knows your name and where you stay can easily use your account. This will lead to heavy bills for you once your bandwidth limit is crossed.

In order to avoid this, surf to your BSNL Control Panel and change your password immediately if you haven’t done so already. You’re running a big risk by letting it go. Try this link to access your BSNL account and change your password/check usage records.
