Review of PhotoHugs.com

I ordered a few prints in my quest to find a decent online Photo Printing service, and my first test was PhotoHugs.com. They only accept Paypal.
Problem 1: I pay using Paypal, it returns to PhotoHugs, and there is absolutely no indication that they have received the payment. My Order History page was empty and I did not receive any kind of an email confirmation. I sent out a couple of emails and a day later it started to show in my Order History.
Problem 2: Order History is completely vague. First message was “Processed”. Then I saw “Tracking ID Sent”. And it just stayed there. Looking at their FAQ’s, contacting support, etc was useless. I didn’t receive a single email from PhotoHugs throughout this experience.
It took about 6 to 7 days for me to finally receive my package (which is fine because I had a poster in the order too). What is not fine is the quality. The paper is too thin. The packaging was pathetic. My prints arrived all messed up and useless.
I haven’t bothered contacting their Support Team again as there is no point.
The only reason I’ve even rated them 2 out of 10 is because of their interface. It is one of the reasons I decided to try them first over the others.
I have used iTasveer (itasveer.com) recently and they are absolutely wonderful. I will write a review of them soon.

And I forgot to mention, thats some really good photography in your flickr stream!
